Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti-Wrinkle injections are the UK’s number one method for treating facial wrinkles and lines. Wrinkles are caused by repeated facial muscle contraction during expressions. Over time these lines become deeper and more prominent. Botulinum toxin injected into these muscles causes them to relax and in turn causes facial lines and wrinkles to soften or disappear depending on their depth. Additionally in trained practitioners hands, these injections can also be used to relax muscles and by the action of opposing muscles create lifting effects. Treatment duration varies, but typically 1 treatment lasts 3-4months.

Treatment
The procedure lasts 10-15 minutes. No anaesthetic is needed for this and there is very little discomfort.
Recovery
The majority of people require no downtime and can return to work and normal activities the same day. Some basic post procedure instructions apply.
