Cheek Filler Treatment
Cheek augmentation is a very popular treatment for patients of all ages. In younger patients, augmenting and enhancing the cheekbones with high density dermal filler can create sharper more defined contoured cheeks and more noticeable cheekbones giving a more youthful and attractive appearance.
For older patients who may have naturally lost volume from the fat pads in their cheek area, cheek augmentation treatment aims to replace midfacial volume loss. In turn this treatment not only helps to fill the hollows of the cheeks, giving a more youthful look. Assesment
A full consultation with our team. Discussion of what you are concerned about and looking for. Then medical history and consent form completion.
Treatment
The procedure lasts 30 minutes. Topical local anesthetic cream is applied to numb the area for 10-15 minutes. As a result there is little discomfort.
Recovery
The majority of people require no downtime and can return to work and normal activities the same day. Minimal swelling and/or bruising may occur, but resolves a few days after the procedure
Result
Results are immediate, with further improvements in the 7 days after treatment. Results can be expected to last 12-18 months..
